About This Role

As a seasoned data engineer, you will lead the migration of our data warehousing and ETL processes to a cutting-edge cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate end-to-end data warehousing and ETL processes from legacy systems to Snowflake and dbt.
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient ETL/ELT pipelines within the new environment.
  • Optimize existing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency on the Snowflake platform.
  • Establish data quality, governance, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop best practices for data modeling, CI/CD, and version control.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of our data engineering practice.
Requirements
  • 5–10 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field.
  • Expertise in migrating data platforms to cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata for data warehousing and Informatica for ETL development.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake data warehousing, including performance tuning and platform administration.
  • Experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, and documentation.
  • Exceptional proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with cloud services and setting up data ingestion from various sources.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
