Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our System Integration team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, creating and enhancing test configurations, and collaborating with developers and Scrum leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality process control products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute system-level software product testing strategies
  • Design and execute test cases from a customer perspective
  • Create and enhance test configurations to meet evolving product requirements
  • Identify, isolate, and document product defects
  • Validate repaired defects and faults
  • Configure and maintain large test systems, including ordering new equipment as necessary
  • Gain knowledge and experience in software testing and agile methodologies
  • Participate in regular Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
  • Collaborate with developers, Scrum leaders, and Product Owners to support system-level needs
  • Participate in agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement
  • Work with technology teams to understand new product requirements
Requirements:
  • Years of technical expertise in design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Distributed Control Systems
  • Ability to quickly understand and evaluate complex and evolving functional requirements
  • Self-directed with the ability to meet challenging schedule requirements
  • Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering) or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in a process control plant
  • Knowledge and experience in setting up systems on various control system versions (preferably DeltaV)
  • Technical expertise with DCS areas (Control and I/O, Ethernet IO, Safety System)
  • Shows leadership skills when working in teams
