Job Summary:
CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Product Safety Certifier II to join our team in Bangalore. As a Product Safety Certifier II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality certification services to clients in the medical device industry. Your expertise in safety standards and testing procedures will ensure that products meet the required safety standards, and you will work closely with clients to resolve any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage certification projects independently, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety requirements and achieving completion within time frames and cost deadlines.
- Handle a wide range of projects, including complex ones, and generate high revenue levels.
- Deliver assigned projects/tests within agreed timescales, demonstrating good productivity and managing project costs within the agreed budget.
- Review test data and reports, authorizing the application of the CSA Mark and preparing Certification Reports and Certificates of Compliance.
- Provide clients with assistance in solving problems/failures without divulging proprietary information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 years of job-related experience or Diploma in Engineering with 7 years of job-related experience.
- Thorough knowledge of safety standards for North America, Canada, and IEC, particularly for medical devices and testing procedures.
- Some experience in TIC (ideally within medical) or a manufacturing background.
- Understanding and application of Risk Management concept for medical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CSA certification programs and services applicable to a variety of equipment.
- Experience in a competitor company with relevant knowledge/experience of this field/sector.
