Job Title: Control Assurance Specialist

Our clients are looking for a highly skilled professional to perform structured testing based on defined testing plans. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of risk assessment and control design to ensure that controls are effective and operate as intended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the control testing lifecycle, including planning, scoping, method/sample selection, test script development, control design, and performance assessment.
  • Build and manage control test plans that define scope, frequency, and timing of testing cycles.
  • Interpret control objectives and assess control design and operating effectiveness across various domains.
  • Perform walkthroughs, inquiries, observations, document inspections, and re-performance of controls.
  • Document control testing results and exceptions using workpapers and templates.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
