Data Engineering Role

At VXI Global Solutions, we're seeking skilled Data Engineers to contribute to our mission of leveraging data for growth and success.

We design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable data solutions, and ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implementing data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives
  • Optimizing data processing and storage solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms
  • Collaborating with data analysts and data scientists to provide clean, reliable, and accessible data for analysis and modeling

We are looking for talented individuals who can work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex ideas clearly, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with distributed computing frameworks, cloud-based data platforms, and data visualization tools.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven 3+ years' experience as a data engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages for data processing and manipulation
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and data pipeline tools is a plus
