Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX professional to join our team as a consultant. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of AX modules, proficiency in SQL development, and strong analytical skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all core Dynamics AX modules.
  • Delve into complex concepts after high-level knowledge transfer.
  • Debug existing AX customizations.
  • Trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL.
  • Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration.
  • Perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality.
  • Create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems is a plus.
