Job Title: EHS Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS professional to oversee and ensure the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental practices at our solar & wind power construction sites. This role involves implementing EHS plans, monitoring site activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among all site personnel.
About this Role:
- This position requires a proactive individual who can implement and monitor site-specific EHS plans and risk assessments.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Indian regulations and company EHS standards.
- Conduct daily safety inspections, toolbox talks, and EHS inductions for workers.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, and electrical works.
- Maintain all EHS documentation, permits, and records.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Organize safety awareness programs and emergency mock drills.
- Support environmental initiatives including waste management and pollution control.
- ESG reporting and data collection and monitoring at sites.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH qualification certified.
- Experience required from 3 years to 10 years in EHS for solar / Wind construction projects.
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal / External certification is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws, standards, and best practices.
- Good communication skills for engaging contractors and workers.
- Hands-on approach to site safety monitoring and incident management.
- Ability to work in remote project locations.
- Ability to manage independently one or more sites and clients.
