The Role

We are seeking a Security Architect who will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our security strategy within our Service Provider organization. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our leadership to design and implement effective security solutions that protect our business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and prioritize risks to our business and IT assets. Using your extensive experience in security architecture design and implementation within a Service Provider environment, you will create a cutting-edge security architecture framework. You will also maintain policies, standards, and guidelines related to information security within our organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and technologies such as encryption, authentication, and authorization solutions.

Your role will involve conducting security reviews of vendors and third-party partners to ensure they meet our rigorous security standards. You will also perform regular security and risk reviews of our Service Provider environment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation activities.

As a Security Architect, you will advise our senior leadership team on the latest security best practices and stay ahead of emerging security threats. You will be responsible for maintaining the security posture of our organization and protecting our customers' assets.

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in security architecture design and implementation within a Service Provider environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
  • Aware of the latest technologies and solutions on Network, Security, and Data Centre technologies in project implementation and design
  • Experience in customer meetings and presentations for business development from the pre-sales point of view
  • Ability to discuss and pitch technical solutions with clients as per business needs
  • Cisco Routers: 1900, 2800, 3800, 3900, and ASR
  • Cisco Switches: 3750X, 3560X, 2960, 4500, 4900, 6500
  • DC Networking-ACI, Nexus 2K, 5K, 7K, 9K
  • Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP/static routing
  • Switching protocols and methodologies: VPC, VDC, OTV, VXLAN, VLANs, Spanning-Tree, VTP, Ether Channel, Stacking, 802.1q tagging/trunking, Port Aggregation, Power Over Ethernet (POE), Failover/Fallback of Hardware and Link (High Availability)
  • Quality of Service: QoS markings, traffic classifications, and prioritization
  • Security: Network Layer-2 and Layer-3 Security
  • Access control: TACACS server, RADIUS
  • Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, NTP, NAT, PAT, etc.
  • Network Management/Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds Orion, Nagios, and Cisco Prime
  • Wireless: Cisco WLC/Access Points/WCS
  • Security Knowledge: Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Firepower, FTD, FMC, Palo Alto, Juniper SRX, and Netscreen
  • Expertise in documentation for networks
  • Possess good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Certifications: CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCIE (preferred)
