We are seeking an experienced e-commerce developer to join our team. As a skilled developer with a passion for e-commerce and a strong understanding of Shopify, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining seamless and visually appealing online stores.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites
  • Extend theme's functionality for custom cart, custom filters or similar requirements
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Evaluate performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Required Skills:
  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async javascript
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating required skills and experience
Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid template language and Shopify's app ecosystem
  • Experience with API testing and third-party integrations
  • Understanding of Shopify themes, plugins, and how customizations are handled in Shopify stores
