Software Developer Position

As a skilled software developer, you will lead the development of cutting-edge web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Node.js to drive business growth.
  • Build responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React.js to engage users and increase conversions.
  • Develop complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to develop high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Review code for quality, maintainability, and performance to ensure technical excellence.
  • Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address them to minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices to drive innovation.
  • Ensure technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for building scalable and efficient backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices to create engaging user interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and complex query design to optimize database performance.
  • Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services to enhance system functionality.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and mentoring developers to drive team success.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field to provide a solid foundation in software development principles.

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets to enhance system real-time capabilities.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture to improve system scalability and flexibility.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest) to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
