Senior Manager in Tax Advisory

Deliver exceptional tax advisory services to clients, leveraging expertise and technology to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage all tax advisory engagements to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Lead the delivery of tax opinions, short notes, and email responses on day-to-day client tax matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Manage tax compliance, including filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, provisioning for income tax, and other tax filings.
  • Supervise and manage tax assessment and litigation proceedings before tax authorities, reviewing and drafting responses to audit notices and questionnaires, and representing clients before tax authorities.
  • Train managers and executives for professional development and create a stronger bench within the team.
  • Deliver tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operate engagements, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Internal client codes management from a time logging, invoicing, and collections standpoint.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities actively and mining existing ones.
  • Support firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions at conferences, and thought leadership and other tax technical papers for firm-wide Go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.
  • Focus and align to firm's core tax growth themes.

  • 8-10 years' experience in Direct Taxation.

  • Base location: Mumbai.
  • This profile involves frequent travel to client locations.
