Functional Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to collaborate with clients and internal teams in implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise business applications.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, and goals.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Design process workflows, system configurations, and functional solutions.
  • Configure ERP/CRM modules as per business needs.
  • Work with technical consultants/developers to ensure customizations meet functional requirements.
  • Validate system setup and ensure alignment with client processes.
  • Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Business Process Documents (BPDs), and user stories.
  • Maintain requirement traceability and change logs.
  • Develop user manuals and training material.
  • Support SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide post-implementation support.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Act as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
  • Manage workshops, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within defined scope and quality.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of industry best practices.
