About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement teams to optimize stock levels.
  • Handle import/export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations (if applicable).
  • Analyze logistics costs and develop strategies to minimize expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays in supply chain operations.
  • Optimize route planning and load management to maximize transportation efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other logistics-related documents.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and government guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, vendors, and transport partners.
  • Negotiate contracts with shipping and courier companies to achieve cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, sales, and customer service to align logistics operations with business needs.
  • Track key logistics performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare reports for management.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Reporting & Analysis:
  • Forecast logistics needs based on sales trends and market demand.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
  • Resolve any logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, effectively.
