Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Recognition Associate to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring revenue recognition aligns with applicable accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews to verify revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606 and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenue and associated accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage multiple relationships and projects
  • Provide ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting
  • Public Accounting or professional services experience is highly desirable
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Workday experience is an advantage
