Data Archiving Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Archiving Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure management of large datasets.

  • Server Administration: Ensure that all servers are properly configured and running smoothly.
  • Authorization Management: Manage user access to file servers and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.
  • Annual Access Audit: Conduct annual audits to ensure that all access requests are properly documented and approved.
  • Windows File Server Management: Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Windows file servers.

Divestment:

  • Data Extraction and Transfer: Extract and transfer archived data to buyers in a timely and secure manner.
  • Quality Documentation: Create high-quality documentation on maintenance activities, changes, and configurations.

Software Management:

  • Enterprise Scan Application Installation: Install and configure Enterprise Scan applications.
  • Patching: Install new patches for Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues related to Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications.

SAP Data Archiving:

  • AIS Activation and Deactivation: Activate and deactivate archive infrastructures.
  • Catchup Archiving: Run catchup archiving for new archive objects.
  • Sweeper: Run sweepers for existing archive objects.

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Status Updates: Attend Agile ceremonies to provide status updates on progress and impediments.
  • Work Item Updates: Update work items in ADO boards and OneNote teams.

Data Management, Incident Management, and Resolution:

  • Incident Assessment: Assess and handle incidents and tickets during Bangkok work hours.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

SAP ILM Retention Management and Warehouse Management:

  • Archive Functionalities Testing: Assist project teams in testing archive functionalities.

Replication Server Migration/Upgrade:

  • Data Migration: Perform data migration.
  • Technical and Functional Testing: Perform technical and functional testing.

Requirements/Deliverables:

  • Agile Practices: Work is managed by Product Owners and Scrum Masters using 3-month planning iterations and 2-week sprints.
  • SLAs: Adhere to Service Level Agreements during PI periods.
  • Delivering Solutions: Deliver incident and problem management solutions during PI periods.
  • Error-Free Maintenance: Deliver successful and error-free SAP Maintenance activities during PI periods.
  • User Stories: Deliver completed assigned User Stories prioritized by Product Owners during PI periods.
  • Documentation: Deliver high-quality documentation using OneNote related to lessons learned, problem solutions, and new configurations.
