We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) Specialist to join our team at Scripting Resumes. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, based on the national average for similar positions in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in data management and governance roles, with hands-on experience using Informatica CDGC, Informatica Axon, or other similar data governance tools. They should be proficient in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solutions, metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage tracking. Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is also required.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and deploying the Informatica CDGC solution to establish a robust data governance framework, developing and managing metadata repositories, and creating and maintaining a comprehensive data catalog for enterprise-wide data assets. You will also integrate CDGC with diverse data sources, implement automated processes for data profiling, data quality checks, and metadata updates, and provide training to end-users and stakeholders on CDGC usage, features, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CDGC Implementation: Configure and deploy the Informatica CDGC solution to establish a robust data governance framework.
  • Metadata Management: Develop and manage metadata repositories, ensuring accurate data lineage and traceability.
  • Data Catalog Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive data catalog for enterprise-wide data assets to support discovery and self-service analytics.
  • Integration: Integrate CDGC with diverse data sources, including cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Automation: Implement automated processes for data profiling, data quality checks, and metadata updates.
  • Data Governance Support: Assist in establishing data stewardship and governance policies, roles, and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and ensure proper data governance practices.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on CDGC usage, features, and benefits. Prepare detailed technical documentation and governance guidelines.
