Senior Solar Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and preparing detailed engineering documents for solar power plants.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies for large-scale solar power plants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet technical requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering documents, including single-line diagrams, array layouts, and equipment layouts.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess site conditions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in solar design engineering, preferably with a focus on utility-scale solar power plants.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD and PVsyst.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
