Job Title: GW Billing Tester

 

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Billing Center Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing test plans and cases for Guidewire BillingCenter Integration and Conversion functions.

You will work in a fast-paced cross-functional agile environment, collaborating with client SMEs and test managers to define and review test requirements, strategies, and plans.

Your responsibilities will also include developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures manually and automatically.

You will establish and oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including metrics like status reports and defect tracking.

You will effectively use tools and processes like Jira, ALM, and Selenium.

You will develop SQL scripts to query databases.

You will test integrations using tools like SOAP UI, Postman, and XML/JSON.

You will review functional specifications developed by Business Analysts in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, and data mappings.

You will conduct user story sprint demonstrations at the end of each sprint release.

You will participate in agile sprint ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective sessions.

A relevant background in automation testing tools like Selenium, UFT, and RPA is an asset.

Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in web service testing tools like SOAP UI, XML, JSON, and POSTMAN.
  • Experience in testing components like Policy Premium, Product Designer, Underwriting Rules, etc.
  • Proficient in Test Management Tools like Jira, HPQC, VSTS, STFS, etc.
  • Knowledge of Selenium, QTP, Ranorex, Excel Macro using VB Scripting or other Test Automation Tools.
  • Awareness of Test Automation and ability to identify areas for improvement.
