The role of a Lead QA Test Automation Engineer SDET involves developing and executing automated tests, creating test cases, and performing manual testing as needed. The individual will be responsible for collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality and addressing any issues identified during testing.

This is a full-time remote opportunity that requires 8+ years experience in Lead QA Automation Engineers with an Engineering background. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers are mandatory. A Devops automation mindset is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium.
  • Creating test cases and performing manual testing as needed.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality and addressing any issues identified during testing.
  • Designing and implementing quality assurance processes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
  • Skills in automation Quality Assurance, Manual Testing, and using and creating Test Cases.
  • Ability to build testing automation framework from scratch and integration with CI/CD pipeline.
  • Proficiency in Software Testing and understanding of Software Development principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is mandatory.
  • Ability to present QA Automation solutions to customers and leadership.
  • Experience with eCommerce and CRM in an enterprise setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in coding and ability to learn new framework.
  • Use of APM platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace, ELK.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum.
