We are seeking an accomplished pastry professional to join our culinary team on a cruise ship.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries and desserts, setting up visually appealing displays, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with USPH regulations.

  • Prepare a variety of pastry and dessert menu items according to recipes and photos.
  • Set up pastry displays on buffets as needed to enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Assist with the transportation of food items from main stores to the pastry galley to ensure efficient operations.
  • Clean and sanitize working areas and utensils following strict guidelines and protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
  • Detailed knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and maintenance procedures.
  • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.
Working Environment

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, interacting with guests and crew members. Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure are essential.
