Database Developer

As a seasoned Database Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and performance of databases. With 4+ years of experience, you will have a strong command of SQL and be well-versed in data modelling concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex relational databases using SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to ensure seamless database operations.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation using Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, or Snowflake.
  • Design and implement data models (normalized and denormalized) for transactional and analytical purposes.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve database security, integrity, and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and major RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • ETL tools Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, Snowflake.
  • Data modelling concepts (star schema, snowflake, normalization).
  • Performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
