Scientific Informatics Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned scientific informatics consultant to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your expertise in biomedical data science, bioinformatics, and computational biology to drive innovation and success in the life sciences industry.

  • In this role, you will apply your domain and technology expertise to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that bridge science, technology, and business stakeholders.
  • You will work closely with clients to identify and respond to their needs, authoring and delivering impactful proposals, and ensuring successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translating client needs into solution roadmaps, actionable initiatives, and scalable solutions that drive strategic impact.
  • Supporting new business development by expanding our footprint of science, data, AI, and technology solutions within existing and new clients.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to provide presales technical and functional expertise, creating pitch presentations to prospective clients.
  • Leading proposal preparation, project estimations, and responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment between client requirements and our capabilities.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (M.Sc. with 5+ years / Ph.D. with 3+ years) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with a proven track record of consulting in biopharma services organizations.
  • Experience in bioinformatics services, presales, or customer-facing roles in Life Sciences or Biotech; Strong background in bioinformatics tools, OMICs data, and applications of AI/ML in life sciences.
  • Strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical data, workflows, and informatics systems across drug discovery, translational, clinical, and real-world data.
