We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Linux system administrator with 4-5 years of experience in managing enterprise-grade Linux servers and environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage, Configure and Monitor: Manage, configure and monitor Linux-based systems (bare metal, virtualized, and cloud instances)
  • Ensure System Uptime and Security: Ensure system uptime, performance, and security through routine maintenance and hardening practices
  • Automate Repetitive Tasks: Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Patch Management and Upgrades: Handle patch management, software upgrades, and kernel tuning
  • Setup and Manage Services: Setup and manage services like Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, DNS, DHCP, SSH, NFS, etc.
  • System Backup and Recovery: Implement and monitor system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Log Monitoring and Health: Monitor logs and system health (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios)
  • Collaboration and CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for CI/CD integration and container support (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Security Best Practices: Apply security best practices (SELinux, firewall rules, fail2ban, auditing tools)
  • Incident Response and Support: Support in incident response and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for system failures
  • On-Call Support Rotation: Participate in on-call support rotation if needed

The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our Linux infrastructure.
