Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the design, implementation and management of scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.

Your Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • Manage logical volume management (LVM) and monitor server health to prevent potential bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer user authorization and access controls to maintain the security and integrity of our cloud environment.
  • Deploy, manage and maintain Linux/Windows instances in AWS/Azure, leveraging automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Configure and manage EC2 firewall settings (security groups, rules, restrictions) to ensure secure data transmission and compliance with industry standards.
  • Migrate AWS instances across different VPCs, minimizing disruption to services and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Set up and maintain AWS services: RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, to ensure high availability and scalability of our applications.
  • Implement and manage IAM roles, users and access policies to grant least privilege access and maintain accountability.
Required Skills & Expertise
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, with experience in debugging complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration, with expertise in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, including deployment, migration and management of resources.
  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization technologies, with understanding of storage and network configurations.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP, with experience in directory services and authentication protocols.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience), with a strong foundation in computer systems and networking principles.
