  • Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Review mechanical drawings for incoming quote requests, identifying key details and requirements.
  • Understand the scope of HVAC work to bid, including labor costs, materials, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering department on new and current projects, ensuring alignment and coordination.
  • Prepare job takeoffs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in HVAC estimating, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC / Mechanical Contracting principles, including bidding software and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Ability to develop budgets and timelines, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Great customer service skills, with a team attitude and strong work ethic.
