Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using CAD software, with strong attention to detail and a creative flair. They will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components based on engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and design optimization opportunities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of PDM is an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
