We are seeking an experienced BigCommerce developer to join our team at Leute Passen India Private Limited. As a key contributor, you will work on building, customizing, and enhancing our e-commerce website using the BigCommerce platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BigCommerce development, including custom API integrations, theme customization, and optimizing the website for performance and scalability.

  1. Develop and maintain custom BigCommerce themes and integrations.
  2. Customize and enhance the BigCommerce platform using front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js).
  3. Implement and integrate 3rd-party apps, APIs, and plugins to extend BigCommerce functionality.
  4. Optimize website performance, page speed, and user experience.
  5. Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to implement e-commerce features and functionalities.
  6. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to the BigCommerce platform.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and new technologies related to BigCommerce.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a BigCommerce developer (minimum of 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil theme framework.
  • Expertise in front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery), Bootstrap.
  • Proficient in back-end technologies: PHP, Node.js.
  • Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP) and custom app development.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
