Job Title: Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting insights from data, building predictive models, and developing AI-powered solutions using exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment of solutions following CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Optimization methodologies including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics for finding the best solution to business problems.
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
  • Proactive approach to areas where improvement is needed, such as suggesting improvements to existing pipelines.
  • Creation and adherence to standards to improve competency quality.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience.
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools, etc.).
  • Strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, ML libraries, and basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies (preferably MS Azure or GCP).
  • Familiarity with theory behind various machine learning concepts.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and Agile project management (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication skills.
