About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our global team. As a Senior Engineer I, you will play a key role in developing and delivering industry leading technology solutions that drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and facilitate engineering training for a team of Engineers.
  • Mentor and ensure production readiness is maintained.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Conduct research for product troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
  • Guide product development and tools selection.
  • Escalate issues and participate in on-call support rotations.
  • Monitor key metrics and report trends.
  • Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice.
  • Contribute to engineering automation and management of production level systems.
  • Verify project engineering design and standards.
  • Monitor reliability and ensure products meet guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of overall experience.
  • Exceptional technical skills, keen eye for design, and excellent communication abilities.
  • 6+ years of experience with Angular / AngularJS.
  • HTML, CSS, and cross-browser compatible code.
  • AJAX, JavaScript, and Bootstrap framework.
  • RESTful services and testing frameworks.
  • Complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services.
  • Gitlab/Github and CI/CD workflows.
  • Emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices.

Qualifications:

As a seasoned professional, you will possess exceptional technical skills, a keen eye for design, and excellent communication abilities. You will have 6+ years of experience with Angular / AngularJS and be familiar with HTML, CSS, and cross-browser compatible code. Additionally, you will have experience with AJAX, JavaScript, and Bootstrap framework, as well as RESTful services and testing frameworks.

You will be responsible for contributing to Agile ceremonies, mentoring and facilitating engineering training for a team of Engineers, ensuring production readiness, working closely with global teams, conducting research, guiding product development, and monitoring key metrics and reporting trends.
