Faceted Façade Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Modelling Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of façade systems using SketchUp.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detailed Model Creation: Develop accurate 3D façade models using SketchUp, incorporating architectural and technical inputs.
• Component Interpretation: Interpret architectural drawings to build precise 3D façade components.
• Visual Support: Assist in preparing exploded views, conceptual visuals, and component-level visuals.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the 3D Visualizer to incorporate feedback and revisions.
• File Management: Maintain organized model files and version tracking.
• Presentation Support: Support client presentations and internal visual communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• Technical Proficiency: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SketchUp 3D modelling.
• Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic construction elements.
• Engineering Drawings: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to Detail: Eye for detail and proportion in visual output.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification:

A relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Interior Design is essential. Certification in SketchUp is an added advantage.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time office-based position, reporting to the Design Engineer and working under guidance in a collaborative environment with high-quality façade projects.
