Job Title: Data Governance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and governance, with experience managing master data and data quality.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Documenting guidelines, processes, and standards to set up, maintain, and streamline master data (i.e., accounts) and hierarchies
  • Set up and maintain master data and hierarchies
  • Participate in data transformation projects including MDM, data migration, and system re-engineering
  • Execute the data quality lifecycle from profiling to measuring business value
  • Evaluate what is needed to solve specific data problems, perform root cause analysis, and create corrective action plans
  • Define how to best achieve desired outcomes
  • Engage with stakeholders in a data ecosystem to ensure data governance and data quality requirements are met throughout the data product lifecycle

Your Background Is

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Governance Engineer with a background in managing Master Data and Data Quality
  • Experience with Account Master data standards, operational and analytical processes, systems, metrics, and end-to-end data flow
  • Experience with MDM Account data, metadata, hierarchy, duplication and validation rules, tools, and processes
  • Experience with data profiling, data quality rule setup, root cause analysis, data remediation, data monitoring, and data quality dashboards
  • Knowledge of data enrichment tools (i.e., D&B, Leadspace) and processes
  • Knowledge of Informatica IDQ, Address Doctor, SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
