The Role and Responsibilities

A Business Researcher typically has 2-3 years of experience working on basic market research. Responsibilities may include:

  • Understanding research objectives, designing strategies, interpreting information, and analyzing data.
  • Working on projects ranging from market entry studies to competitive landscape analyses.
  • MAPPING industry professionals for primary interviews.
  • Preparing RFPs and proposals as well as pilot projects for clients.

A Senior Researcher will be responsible for complex, client-engaging projects related to business assessments and intelligence.

  • Should have at least 4-6 years of experience supporting Corporates/Professional Services/Investment Management clients.
  • He/she will lead one to four accounts based on size and importance of accounts, experience, and seniority.
