About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure firewalls to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Provide critical thinking to sophisticated problems in a 24/7, critical network environment
  • Process, monitor, and prioritize trouble tickets
  • Automate tasks that should be automated
  • Provide support and administration of customer firewalls and security appliances
  • Arrange scheduled upgrades
  • Investigate faults in the network
  • Report network status to key stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot network problems
  • IP address auditing
  • Establish networking environments by designing system configuration and directing system installation
  • Define, document, and enforce system standards
  • Maximize performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Network fundamentals – TCP/IP
  • Experience in supporting Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, FortiGATE, and ASA
  • Knowledge on ITIL procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant years of experience as a Major/Critical Incident Manager
  • ITIL Trained, Tested, and Certified (ITIL Foundation Certified)
  • Working Experience of Service Now (Ticketing tool)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), with experience interacting with all levels of management both within Company and Customer organizations
  • Wireshark - packet capture and analysis of the captures
  • JNCIA or PCNSE
  • Firewall management platform JUNOS Space or Palo Alto Panorama
  • Load balancer – Netscaler

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
