Job Title: Medical Content Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Content Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining editorial quality control of agency deliverables during all stages of production.

You will work closely with our global creative agency teams and talented designers to deliver high-quality services. This is an exciting role that requires you to lead copyediting on one brand, and/or backup on a variety of brands.

  • Copy edit, fact-check, and proofread a variety of promotional and educational materials for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients from manuscripts through print or digital production.
  • Work closely with Account Services, Copywriters, Art Directors, and other team members to ensure that print and digital materials are of the highest quality in terms of accuracy, utility, clarity, readability, and appeal.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience copyediting in a pharmaceutical advertising agency, in-house agency, or medical publishing company preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AMA Manual of Style, 11th edition desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills essential.
  • Curiosity/interest in medical topics essential.
  • Organization and attention to detail essential.
