Vehicle ADAS Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle ADAS Specialist to develop and implement advanced driver assistance systems for vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, electronics, and mechatronics, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field.

The selected candidate will be responsible for defining system specification documents for ADAS and other vehicle-related safety features. They will also be responsible for diagnostics of ECUs, error code validation, and software tracking on vehicle level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define test cases and validate CAN messages during software development as per vehicle network/architecture.
  • Execute tasks within timelines and achieve development milestones during vehicle development.
  • Define KPIs for ADAS system performance according to customer and legislation requirements.
  • Evaluate data and define SW change requirements.
  • Perform functional/component-level calibration of ADAS components.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including releasing design components/ECU/datasets in systems along with certification and homologation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in the related field of application in OEMs.
  • Knowledge of ECU testing/diagnostics tools like ETAS INCA/MARC/Monaco.
  • Knowledge of CAN tools like CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape & CANdela studio.
  • Familiarity with automotive electronic control systems – Functional Safety, Design aspects, application, and integration on vehicle level.
  • Understanding of design failure mode analysis and design verifications for ADAS systems and components.
