Job Details



The role of a Project Head involves overseeing the execution of multiple construction projects, both Brown field and Green field, with complex schedules and budgets in a multivendor environment. The key objective is to ensure that all quality parameters are met, projects are delivered on time, and within the estimated cost.

The job requires estimating efforts relative to project(s) and visiting job site(s) as needed to review progress and quality of work. This involves coordinating with the Project Planning team to work on Schedule, Resource Planning, Budgeting, Risk Management, Quality and Cost Management etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the project, as well as compliance as laid out to the management and other identified stakeholders. This includes coordinating the interrelating activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and customers and issuing appropriate change orders to subcontractors and customers.

Furthermore, the job entails reviewing and approving subcontractor and vendor payment requests and issuing changes in the work to receive prices from subcontractors in a timely fashion. Additionally, developing a job progress schedule to ensure that actual construction parallels with the schedule is crucial.

Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and vendors for various trades, ensuring that all phases of the work are encompassed and that a clear definition of work responsibility is defined, is another critical aspect of this role. Moreover, reviewing shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with scope of work is essential.

This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to coordinate with various stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and vendors.
