About the Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures in Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal latency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deploy Networks: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) in the Azure environment, ensuring they meet the company's requirements.
  • Network Security Controls: Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall rules, routing rules, and public IP management, to prevent unauthorized access and monitor network performance.
  • Monitoring and Performance: Monitor network performance to identify areas for improvement, optimize network configuration, and troubleshoot issues promptly.

  • Security Measures: Implement Azure network security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and identity management systems, to protect against cyber threats.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure network security compliance and conduct regular network security audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Document all network setups, troubleshooting steps, and network updates for future reference.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT security teams to ensure network security compliance and collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement the best network solutions.
  • Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure updates and features, integrating them into the company's network as appropriate.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Azure Services: Including virtual networks, Azure DNS, Network Security Groups (NSGs), VPN, and ExpressRoute connectivity.
  • Experience with Security Tools: Experience with Azure Security Center, firewalls, encryption, and identity management systems.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Up-to-Date Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
