Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop compelling narratives for political, policy and election campaigns.
  • Oversight of digital advertising strategy with relevant teams using analytics to optimize performance.
  • Lead a team to produce engaging content including shorts and long-form videos.
  • Drive growth by optimizing videos for the YouTube algorithm and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Analyze YouTube Studio data to understand audience retention, traffic sources and demographics.
  • Stay ahead of YouTube trends, experiment with new formats and analyze competitor channels.
  • Built relationships with relevant creators to collaborate on projects.
  • Develop crisis communication plans ensuring timely responses.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Indian politics, history and current affairs.
  • 8-10 years experience in communications, video production or channel management ideally in media, PR/communications agency or public affairs setting with demonstrable success in growing a significant YouTube channel.
  • Expertise in YouTube including algorithm, content strategy and SEO.
  • Strong ability to craft compelling narratives from scripting to final edit.
  • Skilled in managing video production workflows and creative teams.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Hindi skills.
