Key Role: Data Insight Specialist

Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data analysis and be proficient in using tools such as Splunk, SQL, and Python to extract insights from large datasets.

A strong background in data visualization is also essential, with experience in creating dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills are required to explain technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.

This role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of distributed systems, including microservices, cloud-native environments, and hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing observability pipelines to collect, aggregate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Monitoring and ingesting data from different sources to detect anomalies and performance issues in real-time.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation for observability systems and processes and sharing knowledge with other teams.
  • Collaborating with development, SRE, and other teams to ensure observability practices are integrated into workflows and to share insights.

Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years of work experience in a data analyst role.
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related discipline.
