Data Analysis Expert

Job Summary:

A data analysis expert is responsible for delivering high-quality statistical deliverables, building and presenting sound models using current programs, and translating client needs into project plans.

About the Role:

  • Develop and present statistically sound models and profiles using current standard programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely delivery of multiple statistical deliverables.
  • Become proficient in industry techniques and trends to enhance current systems.
  • Consult with clients on complex statistical ideas and translate their needs into actionable project plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Manage concurrent projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
  2. Data Analysis: Build, analyze, and interpret large datasets using SAS, Python, and other analytical tools.
  3. Statistical Modeling: Develop and implement sound statistical models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data-driven decision making.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and develop strong working relationships.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in statistics or economics.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or modeling with large transactional databases.
  • Proficiency in Python, SAS, and UNIX environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and maintain composure in ambiguous situations.
