Job Title: Plant IT Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations at a manufacturing plant. This includes managing systems such as MES, LIMS, SCADA, and ERP in a GMP environment.

  • Manage IT operations, including systems such as MES, LIMS, SCADA, and ERP, in a GMP environment.
  • Provide GxP-compliant support for manufacturing systems and ensure proper documentation and validation protocols are followed.
  • Act as primary IT contact for plant and quality assurance teams.
  • Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and system validation life cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Manage local infrastructure and coordinate with central IT teams.
  2. Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols.
  3. Coordinate new IT system rollouts and upgrades.
  4. Maintain and update IT SOPs in compliance with GxP standards.
  5. Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers.
  6. Train and support end-users on relevant IT systems and best practices.
