Senior Java Developer Job Description">

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
  • Implement scalable and high-performing backend systems and APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in Core Java and object-oriented principles.
  • Expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.).
  • Solid hands-on experience in Microservices design & implementation.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Proficiency with message brokers like Apache Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Hazelcast or Redis for caching or distributed data management.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is an added advantage.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience working in product-based companies or fast-paced service environments.
