Senior Automation Test Engineer

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you'll work closely with technology teams to define and build quality verification systems for our tools and platform.

You'll develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external software systems, driving improvements in engineering practices across teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing automated testing frameworks
  • Driving improvements in software engineering practices
  • Building tools and frameworks for automated testing

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5-9 years in QA/Automation with 3+ years hands-on Cypress (JS/TS)
  • Strong POM, data-driven tests, custom commands, intercepts, stubs/mocks, and handling dynamic elements/retries
  • Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals (modules, async/await, promises)
  • Proven CI/CD experience with artifacts and parallelization
  • Experience with API testing, JSON assertions, schema/contract validation
  • Comfortable with git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Exposure to BrowserStack or similar cross-browser platforms

  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Experience with testing Angular/Ruby on Rails based web applications
  • Experience with testing mobile apps
  • Past success with being a forward thinker and an advocate for the customer
