About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our Global IT Operations team at Alter Domus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and high levels of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and engineer Windows Server environments in an enterprise IT setting, with a focus on operational and break/fix activities.
  • Manage various server-related resources, including Active Directory, VoIP, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and PowerAutomate, ensuring patches and security tasks are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing excellent customer service and quality.
  • Set up workstations, domain accounts, and other hardware and software applications as needed.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot network elements, infrastructure services, and platforms.
  • Install and troubleshoot Microsoft and other system applications and solutions.
  • Communicate progress and status with project stakeholders and collaborate with team members to create and resolve support tickets.
  • Provide hands-on expertise on systems-related projects and work with the internal Operations Team.
  • Work with a global IT team supporting users worldwide.
  • Maintain accurate, quality documentation for the administration and operation of underlying infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related IT industry experience.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work with teams in multiple time zones.
  • Strong work ethic, responsiveness, and passion for customer service and quality.
  • Excellent team player and good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work within a project-based environment.
