About the Role - As a Content Strategist for Global Education at aecc - digital innovation hub, you will be responsible for spearheading our global content strategy, crafting exceptional, SEO-driven narratives for our study abroad agency spanning 12 countries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Apply the Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) framework to create user-focused content.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Plan content for all customer journey stages.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithms.
  • Craft content that aligns with user intent and optimizes for ranking opportunities like AI overviews and snippets.
  • Audit and refine content for relevance and performance.
  • Ensure engaging, audience-tailored content with a consistent tone and credible sources.
  • Leverage storytelling and collaborate with UX and product teams for effective delivery.
  • Provide editorial oversight and guide internal and external contributors.
  • Structure content for seamless addition of infographics and videos.
  • Collaborate with design teams to enhance visual elements.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research for unique insights.
  • Optimize metadata and headers for improved rankings and accessibility.
  • Track and report performance metrics using analytics tools.
  • Coordinate with SEO, marketing, UX, product, and sales teams.
  • Maintain workflows, calendars, and brand guidelines for timely and consistent delivery.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • A degree in Mass Communication or Journalism, English Literature or Language Studies, Marketing or Communications, Business Administration (specialized in Marketing or Digital Marketing), Media Studies, Education or EdTech, or Creative Writing or Liberal Arts.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing content strategies that drive business results.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with global education, study abroad programs, and related topics.
  • Knowledge of content accessibility standards.
  • Background in News or Media Companies: Experience in creating compelling content while maintaining editorial values and guidelines.
