Job Title: Data Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Solutions Engineer to lead our data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proven track record of building and managing large-scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data solutions using various technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQL databases, and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop ETL processes and data warehousing solutions using tools like PySpark, Tableau, and AWS Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our data engineering capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Expertise in analytic data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake and Databricks SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL tools and big data frameworks.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Experience with various databases and file formats.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Experience with version control systems and ticket tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
