Lead Windchill Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windchill Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining complex server architecture, overseeing system upgrades and patches, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery planning.

This role requires a strong background in PTC Windchill and experience with server management (Windows/Linux), databases (Oracle/MS SQL), and network protocols. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as leadership experience in managing technical teams.

  • Design and maintain Windchill server architecture, including clustered environments.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics.
  • Implement backup and recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Windchill system administration and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill.
  • Experience with CAD integrations (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and virtualization (VMware, Azure).
  • Certifications in Windchill or related technologies.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
