The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, with experience in designing, building, and managing data pipelines, as well as collaborating with architects, data modelers, and other team members to fulfill business needs.

  • Work closely with Product owners / managers to understand business requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, data modelers, and other team members to design technical details of data engineering jobs / processes
  • Lead sessions with data engineers and provide necessary guidance to solve technical challenges

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views. Experience with ELT to load data into database and perform transformations in database is also required. Snowflake experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines for Azure cloud-based data platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Develop new and/or enhance existing data processing components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views (5+ yrs experience)
  • Focus on ELT to load data into database and perform transformations in database (5+ yrs experience)
  • Snowflake experience a plus
