Investment Manager Job Description

Nuvama Wealth Management is a leading wealth and asset management firm in India, serving close to a million customers across various segments.

The company serves affluent customers, UHNIs, family offices, institutional clients, and corporates, offering a range of services including wealth solutions, asset management, and capital market advisory.

As an Investment Manager, you will be responsible for managing and selling insurance products to clients through our channels, providing expertise in insurance solutions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will work closely with existing Relationship Managers (RMs) across Nuvama Wealth and contribute to the team's overall sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development: Promote and sell insurance products to existing and potential customers, achieve sales targets, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Client Consultation: Assess clients' insurance needs, provide suitable recommendations, and explain insurance policies and coverage options clearly.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients regarding their insurance policies, address client inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns related to insurance products.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all insurance transactions comply with company regulations and policies, maintain accurate records of sales and client interactions, and stay updated with changes in insurance laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the banking or insurance industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of insurance products and services.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Functional Competencies:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in life insurance sector.
  2. Fresher candidates should have experience from Insurance institutes only.

Work Environment:

  1. Full-time position, typically within standard office hours.
  2. May require occasional travel outside the present location to meet clients or attend training sessions.
  3. Office-based with some flexibility to work outside the main office, depending on company policies.
