Job Title: Film Project Coordinator Intern

We are a team of film professionals creating a high-impact documentary film showcasing India's advancements in space science and technology.

  • This project requires strong narrative craft, creative execution, and exploration of the nation's achievements in space science and technology.

You will assist the Director directly, contributing to script development, research, and creative coordination across the production cycle. Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Director in pre-production, production, and post-production activities
  • Supporting in developing scripts, treatments, and narrative structures
  • Conducting background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics
  • Coordinating with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics
  • Translating finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance
  • Providing creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding
  • Ensuring alignment between the script and visual storytelling approach

You will gain hands-on experience working on a national-level film project, mentorship under an experienced Director, exposure to unique intersections of cinema, public policy, and science communication, a credited internship certificate, and potential opportunities for professional growth and networking.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Film school student or recent graduate, or aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis)
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative
